เมื่อวันที่ 4 ก.พ. 2568 อธ.กรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศ กล่าวถ้อยแถลงในนามประเทศไทยและถ้อยแถลงร่วมในนามกลุ่มประเทศ GCM Champion Countries ในการประชุมการทบทวนการดำเนินการตามข้อตกลงระหว่างประเทศเพื่อการโยกย้ายถิ่นฐานที่ปลอดภัย เป็นระเบียบ และปกติ (Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration - GCM) ประจำภูมิภาคเอเชียและแปซิฟิก ครั้งที่ 2 เพื่อสะท้อนพัฒนาการของไทยและภูมิภาค ในการปฏิบัติตามข้อตกลงดังกล่าว อาทิ การทำข้อตกลงด้านแรงงานกับประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน การใช้มาตรการทางเลือกแทนการกักตัวเด็ก และการขจัดอคติต่อผู้โยกย้ายถิ่นฐาน รวมถึงแลกเปลี่ยนบทเรียนและความท้าทายในภูมิภาค

On 4 February 2025, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director - General of the Department of International Organizations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand delivered a Country Statement for Thailand and a Joint Statement on behalf of the GCM Champion Countries at the Second Asia Pacific Global Compact on Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration (GCM) Regional Review to reflect on major developments in Thailand on the implementation of GCM including the MOUs on labour, the alternatives to detention for children, and projects to address negative stereotypes on migrants, including to exchange views on lessons learnt and challenges in the region.
