เมื่อวันที่ 4 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 นางเอกสิริ ปิณฑะรุจิ ปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้กล่าวถ้อยแถลงเปิดการประชุมทบทวนการดำเนินการตามข้อตกลงระหว่างประเทศเพื่อการโยกย้ายถิ่นฐานที่ปลอดภัย เป็นระเบียบ และปกติ ประจำภูมิภาคเอเชียและแปซิฟิก ครั้งที่ 2 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นโดยคณะกรรมาธิการเศรษฐกิจและสังคมแห่งสหประชาชาติสำหรับเอเชียและแปซิฟิก (United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific: UNESCAP) และเครือข่ายสหประชาชาติว่าด้วยการโยกย้ายถิ่นฐานในเอเชียและแปซิฟิก เพื่อย้ำถึงความสำคัญของการปฏิบัติตามข้อตกลงฯ ขับเคลื่อนเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน และการรับมือกับความท้าทายใหม่ ๆ อาทิ การเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ อาชญากรรมข้ามชาติ รวมถึงการค้ามนุษย์

On 4 February 2025, Mrs. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, delivered the Opening Remarks at the second Asia Pacific Regional Review of the Implementation of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration (GCM), co-organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) and the UN Network on Migration for Asia and the Pacific to highlight the importance of the implementation of the GCM in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals and combating emerging challenges including climate change, transnational crimes and trafficking in persons.
