เนื่องในโอกาสการเฉลิมฉลอง "วันสตรีสากล" ประจำปีนี้ ดิฉันขอร่วมกับประชาคมระหว่างประเทศในการชื่นชมความสำเร็จและการมีส่วนร่วมของสตรีและเด็กหญิงต่อการส่งเสริมสันติภาพ ความมั่นคง และการพัฒนาทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคมในทุกระดับ

             ประชาคมระหว่างประเทศควรร่วมมือกันเพื่อพิจารณาว่า เรายังจะสามารถทำอะไรกันได้อีกบ้างเพื่อดำเนินการและเสริมพลังสตรีและเด็กหญิงทั่วโลก

             เราจะสามารถสร้างสังคมแห่งการมีส่วนร่วมและบรรลุเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนได้อย่างแท้จริงก็ต่อเมื่อมีความเท่าเทียมทางเพศ มีการเสริมพลังสตรีและเด็กหญิง รวมถึงมีการส่งเสริมสิทธิสตรี

              As we celebrate this year's International Women's Day, I joined the International community in applauding the outstanding achievement and contributions of women and girls to peace and security as well as social and economic development at all levels.           

              The international community must join hands to reflect upon what more we can do to invest in and empower all women and girls around the wotld. Only through gender equality, empowerment of women and girls and the realization of the human rights of women, can we create an inclusive society and truly achieve sustainable development.
