เมื่อวันที่ 24-25 กันยายน 2567 นางสาวพินทุ์สุดา ชัยนาม อธิบดีกรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศได้พบหารือ กับผู้แทนระดับอธิบดีของประเทศต่าง ๆ ที่เข้าร่วมการประชุมสมัชชาสหประชาชาติสมัยสามัญ ครั้งที่ 79 (UNGA79) ในห้วงสัปดาห์การประชุมระดับสูง ที่นครนิวยอร์ก ได้แก่ (1) นาย Melis Mamadaliev อธิบดีกรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศของสาธารณรัฐคีร์กีซ (2) นางสาว Nizaheta Kurpejovic Cikotic อธิบดีกรมการพหุภาคี มอนเตเนโกร (3) นาย Philip Odida อธิบดีกรมการเมืองภูมิภาคและระหว่างประเทศ ยูกันดา และ (4) นาย Torbjörn Haak อธิบดีกรมนโยบายสหประชาชาติ ข้อพิพาท และการโยกย้ายถิ่นฐาน สวีเดน เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนความเห็นในประเด็นระหว่างประเทศที่สนใจร่วมกัน และในโอกาสนี้ อธิบดีกรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศได้ขอรับการสนับสนุนการสมัครเป็นสมาชิกคณะมนตรีสิทธิมนุษยชนแห่งสหประชาชาติ (Human Rights Council: HRC) ของประเทศไทย วาระปี ค.ศ. 2025-2027 ซึ่งจะมีการเลือกตั้งในวันที่ 9 ตุลาคม 2567 ณ นครนิวยอร์ก

During the High-level week of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA79) on 24 - 25 September 2024, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations had bilateral meetings with (1) Mr. Melis Mamadaliev, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations of Kyrgyzstan (2) Ms. Nizaheta Kurpejovic Cikotic, Director-General for Multilateral Affairs of Montenegro (3) Mr. Philip Odida, Director, Regional and International Political Affairs of Uganda and (4) Mr. Torbjörn Haak, Head of Department for UN Policy, Conflict and Migration of Sweden to exchange views on international issues of common interest. On this occasion, Director- General Jayanama requested support for Thailand’s candidature to the Human Rights Council (HRC) for the term 2025-2027 at the elections to be held on 9 October 2024 in New York.
