เมื่อวันที่ 24 เมษายน 2568 นางสาวพินทุ์สุดา ชัยนาม อธิบดีกรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศ ได้พบหารือกับนายอัรดะชีร เกาะดีรี เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐทาจิกิสถานประจำประเทศไทย (ถิ่นพำนัก ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์) ในโอกาสที่นายอัรดะชีรฯ เดินทางมาไทยระหว่างวันที่ 21-25 เมษายน 2568 เพื่อเข้าร่วมการประชุมประจำปีของคณะกรรมาธิการเศรษฐกิจและสังคมแห่งสหประชาชาติสำหรับเอเชียและแปซิฟิก (ESCAP) สมัยที่ 81 ที่ศูนย์ประชุมสหประชาชาติกรุงเทพฯ

ทั้งสองฝ่ายยินดีกับพัฒนาการทางความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างไทยกับทาจิกิสถานและแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับแนวทางส่งเสริมความร่วมมือในกรอบสหประชาชาติ โดยไทยได้ชื่มชมทาจิกิสถานที่จะเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดการประชุมนานาชาติระดับสูงเรื่องการอนุรักษ์ธารน้ำแข็ง (High-Level International Conference on Glacier Preservation) ในเดือนพฤษภาคม ๒๕๖๘ ที่เมืองดูชานเบ และบทบาทนำในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการบริหารจัดการน้ำ และการบรรลุเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน เป้าหมายที่ 6 น้ำสะอาดและสุขอนามัย

On 24 April 2025, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, met with His Excellency Mr. Ardasher Qodiri, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Thailand (resident in Kuala Lumpur) on the occasion of his visit to Thailand on 21 to 25 April 2025, to attend the 81^st Session of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP)t the United Nations Conference Centre Bangkok.

Both sides welcomed the developments in relations between Thailand and Tajikistan and exchanged views on ways to enhance cooperation within the United Nations framework. The Thai side commended Tajikistan’s upcoming hosting of the High-Level International Conference on Glaciers’ Preservation in May 2025 in Dushanbe and  leadership in promoting cooperation in water resource management, as well as advancing the Sustainable Development Goal 6 on Clean Water and Sanitation.
