On 15 October 2025, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, led a delegation of officials from the relevant departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to meet with General Rangpiracht Yamkaesorn, Director of the Thailand Mine Action Center (TMAC), at the TMAC Headqaurters to congratulate the Director on his assumption of office.
Both sides exchanged views on Thailand’s ongoing demining efforts along the Thailand-Cambodia border in fulfillment of Thailand’s obligations under the Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention (APMBC), or the Ottawa Convention, and the preparations for the upcoming 22th Meeting of the States Parties to the APMBC (22MSP), to be held from 1 to 5 December 2025 in Geneva, Switzerland.
