เมื่อวันที่ 23 กุมภาพันธ์ 2567 นางสาวพินทุ์สุดา ชัยนาม อธิบดีกรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศ ได้เป็นประธานการประชุมคณะกรรมการประสานงานด้านสหประชาชาติ องค์การระหว่างประเทศอื่นๆ และองค์การต่างประเทศ ครั้งที่ 1/2567 ที่กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ 

การประชุมคณะกรรมการฯ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อติดตามผลการเข้าร่วมการประชุมสมัชชาสหประชาชาติ สมัยสามัญ ครั้งที่ 78 (UNGA78) และกิจกรรมสำคัญของไทยในช่วงสัปดาห์ผู้นำของนายกรัฐมนตรีและผู้แทนระดับสูงของไทย เมื่อวันที่ 18-24 กันยายน 2566 ณ นครนิวยอร์ก สหรัฐอเมริกา 

นอกจากนี้ ที่ประชุมยังได้หารือผลการประชุมของคณะกรรมการหลักต่างๆ ในช่วงปลายปีที่ผ่านมา ซึ่งเกี่ยวข้องกับภารกิจสำคัญของสหประชาชาติในด้าน (1) การลดอาวุธและความมั่นคงระหว่างประเทศ (2) เศรษฐกิจ การเงิน และการพัฒนา (3) สังคม มนุษยธรรมและวัฒนธรรม (4) การเมืองพิเศษและการปลดปล่อยอาณานิคม (5) การบริหารจัดการและงบประมาณ และ (6) กฎหมาย

คณะกรรมการประสานงานด้านสหประชาชาติ องค์การระหว่างประเทศอื่นๆ และองค์การต่างประเทศ จัดขึ้นเมื่อปี 2562 ประกอบด้วย 46 หน่วยงานราชการที่มีภารกิจเกี่ยวข้องกับสหประชาชาติและองค์การระหว่างประเทศต่างๆ โดยมีปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศหรือผู้แทนเป็นประธานกรรมการ มีหน้าที่สำคัญในการประสานนโยบายพหุภาคีและท่าทีของไทยในการประชุมระหว่างประเทศให้มีความสอดคล้องรอบด้านและมีเอกภาพ

On 23 February 2024, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director - General of the Department of International Organizations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand chaired the first annual meeting of the Coordinating Committee on Issues Related to the United Nations, Other International Organizations and Foreign Organizations, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The objective fo the meeting was to follow - up on important outcomes of the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly  (UNGA78) last year and the highlights of Thailand's participation, especially by the Prime Minister and high-level representatives, during the High-Level Week on 18-24 September 2023 in New York.

In addition, the meeting also discussed the deliberations of all UNGA committees during the main session: (1) Disarmament and International Security (2) Economic and Financial (3) Social, Humanitarian and Cultural (4) Special Political and Decolonization (5) Administrative and Budgetary (6) Legal issues.

Established in 2019, the Coordinating Committee on Issues Related to the UN, Other International Organizations and Foreign Organizations comprises of 46 government agencies, whose tasks are related to the work of UN and international organizations. The Committee is chaired by the Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs or delegated representative and is responsible for coordinating Thailand's positions and policy on multilateral affairs in a complementary, comprehensive and unified manner.
