เมื่อวันที่ ๖ ตุลาคม ๒๕๖๙ นางสาวพินทุ์สุดา ชัยนาม อธิบดีกรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศ เป็นประธานการประชุมคณะกรรมการกำกับดูแลการจัดทำรายงานประเทศและติดตามการปฏิบัติตามข้อเสนอแนะภายใต้กลไก Universal Periodic Review (UPR) ของคณะมนตรีสิทธิมนุษยชนแห่งสหประชาชาติ (Human Rights Council: HRC) ครั้งที่ ๒/๒๕๖๙ ที่กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ โดยมีผู้แทนหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องและผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านสิทธิมนุษยชน ซึ่งเป็นองค์ประกอบในคณะกรรมการฯ เข้าร่วม

ที่ประชุมฯ รับทราบกำหนดการที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการเตรียมการเพื่อนำเสนอรายงาน UPR รอบที่ ๔ ของไทยและหารือเกี่ยวกับแนวทางในการพิจารณาข้อเสนอแนะและคำมั่นโดยสมัครใจ โดยประเทศไทยมีกำหนดนำเสนอรายงาน UPR รอบที่ ๔ ในวันที่ ๙ พฤศจิกายน ๒๕๖๙ ในห้วงการประชุมคณะทำงาน UPR สมัยที่ ๕๓ ที่ นครเจนีวา ประเทศสวิตเซอร์แลนด์

Director-General of the Department of International Organizations chairs the Meeting of the National Committee on the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of the Human Rights Council (HRC)

On 6 October 2026, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, chaired the 2/2026 meeting of the National Committee on the Implementation of Recommendations under the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) Mechanism of the Human Rights Council (HRC) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting was attended by representatives of relevant agencies and human rights experts who are members and advisors of the National Committee.

The Committee was informed of the programme for preparations for Thailand’s presentation under the fourth-cycle UPR and discussed guidelines for considering recommendations and voluntary pledges. Thailand will present its fourth UPR report on 9 November 2026 during the 53rd session of the UPR Working Group in Geneva, Switzerland.
