เมื่อวันที่ 15 ตุลาคม 2568 นางสาวพินทุ์สุดา ชัยนาม อธิบดีกรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศ เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม Private Sector Support for Thailand’s Journey Toward Making Statelessness History ซึ่งร่วมจัดโดยสำนักงานข้าหลวงใหญ่ผู้ลี้ภัยแห่งสหประชาชาติ (UNHCR) กับบริษัท Mediator จำกัด โดยมีผู้แทนจากภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนไทยและญี่ปุ่น รวมถึงผู้แทนสถานเอกอัครราชทูตต่างประเทศในไทยเข้าร่วม

อธิบดีกรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศได้กล่าวถ้อยแถลงในช่วงพิธีเปิด ย้ำความมุ่งมั่นของรัฐบาลไทยในการแก้ไขปัญหาบุคคลไร้รัฐไร้สัญชาติในประเทศไทย และแจ้งความคืบหน้าการดำเนินการตามมติคณะรัฐมนตรีเมื่อวันที่ 29 ตุลาคม 2567 เรื่อง การเร่งรัดการแก้ไขปัญหาสัญชาติและสถานะบุคคลให้แก่บุคคลที่อพยพเข้ามาอยู่ในราชอาณาจักรเป็นเวลานานและกลุ่มบุตรที่เกิดในราชอาณาจักร และเน้นให้ความสำคัญของความร่วมมือระหว่างทุกภาคส่วน โดยเฉพาะภาคเอกชน ในการร่วมกันแก้ไขปัญหาบุคคลไร้รัฐไร้สัญชาติ

On 15 October 2025, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, attended an event on the "Private Sector Support for Thailand’s Journey Toward Making Statelessness History", co-hosted by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and Mediator Co., Ltd. The event was attended by representatives from the public and private sectors from Thailand and Japan, as well as foreign embassies in Thailand.

The Director-General delivered opening remarks reaffirming the Royal Thai Government’s commitments to resolving statelessness and shared Thailand’s progress of implementation of the cabinet resolution on 29 October 2024 on accelerated pathways for granting permanent residency and nationality for long-term stateless residence and children born in Thailand to stateless parents. She also stressed the importance of multi-stakeholder cooperation, especially with the private sector, to end statelessness.
