เมื่อวันที่ 13 พฤษภาคม 2568 นางสาวพินทุ์สุดา ชัยนาม อธิบดีกรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศ ได้พบหารือกับนาย Pedro Zwahlen เอกอัครราชทูตสมาพันธรัฐสวิสประจำประเทศไทย ทั้งสองฝ่ายหารือเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ผู้พลัดถิ่นทั่วโลก รวมถึงบทบาทและอาณัติของข้าหลวงใหญ่ผู้ลี้ภัยแห่งสหประชาชาติ (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees: UNHCR) ในการดูแลและแสวงหาทางออกให้กลุ่มดังกล่าว อีกทั้งได้แลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองในประเด็นพหุภาคีอื่น ๆ รวมถึงแนวโน้มการปรับลดงบประมาณการให้ความช่วยเหลือทางมนุษยธรรมทั่วโลก

On 13 May 2025, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, had a discussion with Mr. Pedro Zwahlen, Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Thailand, on topics related to humanitarian aid and current global trends. They discussed in particular, the situation of displaced persons worldwide, and the role and mandate of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in finding durable solutions for various groups. They also exchanged views on related multilateral issues, including the current global trend on decreasing humanitarian aid.
