เมื่อวันที่ 30 มกราคม 2569 นางสาวพินทุ์สุดา ชัยนาม อธิบดีกรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศ พบหารือกับนาย Bo Mathiasen ผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายปฏิบัติการ (Director of Division for Operations) สำนักงานว่าด้วยยาเสพติดและอาชญากรรมแห่งสหประชาชาติ (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime: UNODC) ในโอกาสที่เดินทางเยือนไทย
อธิบดีฯ ขอบคุณ UNODC สำหรับการเป็นเจ้าภาพร่วมจัดการประชุมระหว่างประเทศว่าด้วยหุ้นส่วนระดับโลกเพื่อต่อต้านอาชญากรรมหลอกลวงทางอินเทอร์เน็ต (International Conference on the Global Partnership against Online Scams) เมื่อวันที่ 17 - 18 ธันวาคม 2568 ที่กรุงเทพฯ โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายหารือเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการต่อยอดผลลัพธ์ของการประชุมดังกล่าวในเวทีระหว่างประเทศอื่น ๆ อาทิ การประชุม Global Fraud Summit ระหว่างวันที่ 16 - 17 มีนาคม 2569 ณ กรุงเวียนนา และการประชุม United Nations Crime Congress ครั้งที่ 15 ระหว่างวันที่ 25 - 30 เมษายน 2569 ณ กรุงอาบูดาบี ซึ่งเป็นการประชุมด้านอาชญากรรมและความยุติธรรมทางอาญาที่สำคัญที่สุดภายใต้กรอบสหประชาชาติ ทั้งยังหารือประเด็นความร่วมมือในด้านความร่วมมือในการป้องกันและปราบปรามยาเสพติดและการบริหารจัดการชายแดน โดยนาย Mathiasen ชื่นชมและขอบคุณไทยสำหรับความร่วมมืออันดีกับ UNODC มาโดยตลอด
ประเทศไทยเป็นที่ตั้งของสำนักงาน UNODC ประจำภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้และแปซิฟิก และเป็นหุ้นส่วนที่เข้มแข็งกับ UNODC ในด้านการควบคุมยาเสพติดและการปราบปรามอาชญากรรมข้ามชาติ
On 30 January 2026, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, had a discussion with Mr. Bo Mathiasen, Director of Division for Operations, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), on the occasion of the latter’s visit to Thailand.
The Director-General expressed Thailand’s appreciation to UNODC for co-hosting the International Conference on the Global Partnership against Online Scams (IC-GPOS) on 17 - 18 December 2025 in Bangkok. Both sides discussed ways to further build on the outcomes of the Conference in other international fora, including the Global Fraud Summit on 16 - 17 March 2026 in Vienna and the 15th United Nations Crime Congress, which is the UN’s most important meeting on crime prevention and criminal justice, on 25 - 30 April 2026 in Abu Dhabi. They also exchanged views on other areas of cooperation, such as drug control and border management. Mr. Mathiasen commended and expressed appreciation for Thailand’s longstanding partnership with UNODC.
Thailand is the host of the UNODC Regional Office for Southeast Asia and the Pacific, and maintains a strong partnership with UNODC on drug control and combatting transnational crimes.
