เมื่อวันที่ 16 มกราคม 2568 นางสาวแคทรียา ปทุมรส รองอธิบดีกรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศ พบกับ Ms. Rosanna Deim-Hoffman เจ้าหน้าที่ด้านกำหนดการและโครงการ (Programme Officer and Project Lead) ของสำนักกิจการอวกาศแห่งองค์การสหประชาชาติ (United Nations Office of Outer Space Affairs: UNOOSA) ที่กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ โดยมีผู้แทนจากสำนักงานพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีอวกาศและภูมิสารสนเทศ (GISTDA) เข้าร่วมด้วย

ทั้งสองฝ่ายหารือเกี่ยวกับการดำเนินการด้านกิจการอวกาศของไทย และการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างไทยและ UNOOSA ทั้งในระดับทวิภาคีและภูมิภาค อาทิ การส่งเสริมขีดความสามารถด้านอวกาศของไทย การส่งเสริมบทบาทของไทยในเวที UNOOSA และการบูรณาการการทำงานด้านเทคโนโลยีอวกาศระหว่างคณะอนุกรรมการด้านเทคโนโลยีอวกาศแห่งอาเซียน (Sub-Committee on Space Technology and Applications of ASEAN) กับ UNOOSA

On 16 January 2025, Ms. Cataleya Phatoomros, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, met with Ms. Rosanna Deim-Hoffman, Programme Officer and Project Lead of the United Nations Office of Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In attendance were also the representatives from the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA).

Both sides discussed Thailand’s space affairs and further cooperation between Thailand and UNOOSA at both bilateral and regional levels, including capacity-building for Thailand and Thailand’s role in UNOOSA as well as enhancing the synergy between the work of the Sub-Committee on Space Technology and Applications of ASEAN and UNOOSA.
