เมื่อวันที่ 7 พฤษภาคม 2569 นายเชษฐพันธ์ มากสัมพันธ์ รองปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ เป็นประธานการประชุมเพื่อขับเคลื่อนการดำเนินความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศในการต่อต้านอาชญากรรมหลอกลวงทางอินเทอร์เน็ต (online scams) โดยมีหน่วยงานภาครัฐที่มีภารกิจด้านการป้องกันและปราบปราม online scams ในมิติต่าง ๆ เข้าร่วม
ที่ประชุมฯ ติดตามความคืบหน้าในการดำเนินการตามผลลัพธ์ของการประชุมระหว่างประเทศที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ online scams ในกรอบต่าง ๆ เพื่อขับเคลื่อนให้เกิดผลเป็นรูปธรรม ซึ่งรวมถึงการประชุมระหว่างประเทศว่าด้วยหุ้นส่วนระดับโลกเพื่อต่อต้านอาชญากรรมหลอกลวงทางอินเทอร์เน็ต เมื่อวันที่ 17 - 18 ธันวาคม 2568 ที่กรุงเทพฯ การประชุมระดับโลกว่าด้วยการฉ้อโกง เมื่อวันที่ 16 - 17 มีนาคม 2569 ที่กรุงเวียนนา และการประชุม EU - Thailand for ASEAN Regional Seminar on Scam Fighting: Strengthening Trust, Protecting People, and Promoting Rules-based Collaboration เมื่อวันที่ 21 - 22 เมษายน 2569 ที่กรุงเทพฯ
ที่ประชุมฯ ยังแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลและความเห็นเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการขับเคลื่อนความร่วมมือระหว่างไทยกับประเทศต่าง ๆ เพื่อแก้ไขปัญหา online scams ใน 4 มิติ ทั้งด้านการป้องกัน การดำเนินคดีต่อกลุ่มอาชญากรรมข้ามชาติ การคุ้มครองผู้เสียหายที่ถูกหลอกลวงและผู้เสียหายจากการค้ามนุษย์ และด้านนโยบายและความเป็นหุ้นส่วน
On 7 May 2026, Mr. Chettaphan Maksampan, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, chaired a meeting among government agencies responsible for preventing and combating online scams in various dimensions, to advance international cooperation against online scams.
The meeting followed up progress on the implementation of the outcomes of various international meetings related to online scams. These include the International Conference on the Global Partnership against Online Scams on 17 - 18 December 2025 in Bangkok, the Global Fraud Summit on 16 - 17 March 2026 in Vienna and the EU - Thailand for ASEAN Regional Seminar on Scam Fighting: Strengthening Trust, Protecting People, and Promoting Rules-based Collaboration, on 21 - 22 April 2026 in Bangkok.
The meeting also exchanged information and views on ways to advance cooperation between Thailand and other countries to combat online scams in four dimensions (4Ps): Prevention, Prosecution against transnational criminal groups; Protection of victims of scams and human trafficking; and Policy and Partnership.
