On 27 July 2023, Mr. Phuchpob Mongkonavin, Deputy Director General of the Department of International Organizations chaired the concluding session of the 8th Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Committee at UNESCAP UNCC meeting. The Commitee underscored the urgency to invest in more in multi-hazard, people-centered and end-to-end warning systems in the Asia Pacific region.
