เมื่อวันที่ 17 พฤศจิกายน 2568 นายวิชาวัฒน์ อิศรภักดี ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ เป็นประธานในการบรรยายสรุปแก่คณะทูตต่างประเทศและผู้แทนองค์การระหว่างประเทศประจำประเทศไทย เรื่อง การประชุมระหว่างประเทศว่าด้วยหุ้นส่วนระดับโลกเพื่อต่อต้านอาชญากรรมหลอกลวงทางอินเทอร์เน็ต (International Conference on Global Partnership against Online Scams) โดยมีนางสาวพินทุ์สุดา ชัยนาม อธิบดีกรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศ ร่วมให้ข้อมูล และมีผู้แทนเข้าร่วมประมาณ 90 คน จาก 58 ประเทศ และ 4 องค์การระหว่างประเทศ
อาชญากรรมหลอกลวงทางอินเทอร์เน็ต (online scams) เป็นปัญหาที่มีความซับซ้อนและส่งผลกระทบอย่างร้ายแรง ในหลายมิติ โดยเฉพาะในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ รวมทั้งประเทศไทย โดยนายอนุทิน ชาญวีรกุล นายกรัฐมนตรี ได้ประกาศในห้วงการประชุมสุดยอดอาเซียน ครั้งที่ 47 และการประชุมสุดยอดที่เกี่ยวข้อง ที่กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ และการประชุมเอเปคที่คยองจู ว่าไทยจะเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดการประชุมระหว่างประเทศด้านการต่อต้านอาชญกรรมหลอกลวงทางอินเทอร์เน็ต
กระทรวงการต่างประเทศได้รับมอบหมายให้จัดการประชุมฯ ระหว่างวันที่ 17 - 18 ธันวาคม 2568 ที่กรุงเทพฯ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเสริมสร้างความเป็นหุ้นส่วนระดับโลกและการสอดประสานความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศเพื่อแก้ไขปัญหา online scams
On 17 November 2025, H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, chaired a briefing for members of the diplomatic corps and representatives of international organizations accredited to Thailand on the International Conference on Global Partnership against Online Scams. Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, also joined to provide further information. The briefing was attended by approximately 90 representatives from 58 countries and 4 international organizations.
Online scams are a complex and serious crisis exerting widespread multi-faceted impacts, particularly in South East Asia, including Thailand. H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister, announced at the 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits in Kuala Lumpur and the APEC Economic Leaders Meeting in Gyeongju that Thailand will host the International Conference on Global Partnership against Online Scams.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will organise the International Conference during 17 - 18 December 2025 in Bangkok, with the main objectives of strengthening a global partnership against online scams and promoting a more coordinated response to online scams at the international level.
