เมื่อวันที่ ๑๙ มกราคม ๒๕๖๙ นางสาวพินทุ์สุดา ชัยนาม อธิบดีกรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศ พบหารือกับนายเคน เลกินส์ ผู้แทนกองทุนเพื่อเด็กแห่งสหประชาชาติ (United Nations Children’s Fund: UNICEF) ประจำประเทศไทย ในโอกาสแนะนำตัวและยื่นหนังสือแต่งตั้ง (Letter of Credence) เพื่อเข้ารับตำแหน่งอย่างเป็นทางการ

ทั้งสองฝ่ายหารือเกี่ยวกับความร่วมมือระหว่างไทยกับ UNICEF ซึ่งรวมถึงแผนการปรับโครงสร้างการดำเนินงานของยูนิเซฟในภูมิภาคและทั่วโลก และการจัดทำแผนงานความร่วมมือผ่านโครงการระดับประเทศ (Country Programme Document: CPD) ฉบับปี ค.ศ. ๒๐๒๗-๒๐๓๑ โดยอธิบดีกรมองค์การฯ
ได้ยืนยันความพร้อมของฝ่ายไทยในการสนับสนุนการดำเนินงานของยูนิเซฟเพื่อส่งเสริมและคุ้มครองสิทธิเด็ก

On 19 January 2026, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, met with Mr. Ken Legins, United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Representative for Thailand, on the occasion of Mr. Legins’ presentation of the letter of credence to officially assume his duty in Thailand.

Both sides discussed Thailand-UNICEF cooperation, including UNICEF’s organizational restructuring plan and the drafting of the Country Programme Document (CPD) for 2027-2031. The Director-General reaffirmed Thailand’s full support for UNICEF’s work in promoting and protecting children’s rights.
