เมื่อวันที่ 26 ก.ย. 2567 นางสาวพินทุ์สุดา ชัยนาม อธิบดีกรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศได้พบหารือกับนางสาว Michele Sison อธิบดีด้านกิจการองค์การระหว่างประเทศ กระทรวงการต่างประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา ในห้วงสัปดาห์การประชุมระดับสูงของการประชุมสมัชชาสหประชาชาติสมัยสามัญ ครั้งที่ 79 (UNGA79) ที่นครนิวยอร์ก โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนความเห็นเกี่ยวกับประเด็นที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสิทธิมนุษยชน และการรักษาสันติภาพในกรอบสหประชาชาติ รวมถึงด้านสตรี สันติภาพ และความมั่นคง ในโอกาสนี้ อธิบดีกรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศได้นำเสนอมุมมอง และประเด็นที่ไทยให้ความสำคัญในการสมัครเป็นสมาชิกคณะมนตรีสิทธิมนุษยชนแห่งสหประชาชาติ (Human Rights Council: HRC) วาระปี ค.ศ. 2025-2027

On 26 September 2024, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, met with Ms. Michele Sison, Assistant Secretary of State for International Organizations Affairs, U.S. Department of State, during the High-level week of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA79) in New York. Both sides exchanged views on issues related to human rights and peacekeeping under the United Nations, including women, peace and security. On this occasion, Director-General Jayanama also presented Thailand’s priorities in its candidature to the United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC) for the term 2025-2027.
