เมื่อวันที่ 27 กันยายน 2567 นางสาวพินทุ์สุดา ชัยนาม อธิบดีกรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศได้พบหารือกับผู้แทนระดับอธิบดีของประเทศต่าง ๆ ที่เข้าร่วมการประชุมสมัชชาสหประชาชาติสมัยสามัญ ครั้งที่ 79 (UNGA79) ในห้วงสัปดาห์การประชุมระดับสูง ที่นครนิวยอร์ก ได้แก่ (1) นาย Anthony Simpson อธิบดีกรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศและกฎหมายของนิวซีแลนด์ (2) นางสาว Angela Robinson อธิบดีกรมนโยบายพหุภาคีและสิทธิมนุษยชน ของออสเตรเลีย และ (3) นาง Daphné Leson รองผู้แทนถาวรโมนาโกประจำสหประชาชาติ ณ​ นครนิวยอร์ก เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนความเห็นในประเด็นระหว่างประเทศที่สนใจร่วมกัน และในโอกาสนี้ อธิบดีกรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศได้ขอรับการสนับสนุนการสมัครเป็นสมาชิกคณะมนตรีสิทธิมนุษยชนแห่งสหประชาชาติ (Human Rights Council: HRC) ของประเทศไทย วาระปี ค.ศ. 2025-2027 ซึ่งจะมีการเลือกตั้งในวันที่ 9 ตุลาคม 2567 ณ นครนิวยอร์ก

During the High-level week of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA79), on 27 September 2024, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations had bilateral meetings with (1) Mr. Anthony Simpson, Director of Multilateral and Legal Affairs Group, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of New Zealand, (2) Ms. Angela Robinson, First Assistant Secretary, Multilateral Policy and Human Rights Division, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Australia and (3) Ms. Daphné Leson, Deputy Permanent Representative of Monaco to the United Nations in New York to exchange views on multilateral issues of common interest. On this occasion, Director- General Jayanama requested support for Thailand’s candidature to the Human Rights Council (HRC) for the term 2025-2027 at the elections to be held on 9 October 2024 in New York.
