เมื่อวันที่ ๖ มิถุนายน ๒๕๖๗ ข้าหลวงใหญ่เพื่อสิทธิมนุษยชนแห่งสหประชาชาติ (นายโวลเกอร์ เติร์ก) เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ (นายรัศม์ ชาลีจันทร์) ในโอกาสเดินทางมาเปลี่ยนเครื่องบิน ที่ประเทศไทย ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือเกี่ยวกับความร่วมมือระหว่างไทยกับสำนักงานข้าหลวงใหญ่เพื่อสิทธิมนุษยชนแห่งสหประชาชาติ (Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights: OHCHR) พัฒนาการและความท้าทายด้านสิทธิมนุษยชนในประเทศไทย ภูมิภาค และโลก และการเตรียมการสำหรับการประชุม Summit of the Future

               On 6 June 2024, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (Mr. Volker Türk) paid a courtesy call on the Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs (Mr. Russ Jalichandra ) during High Commissioner’s stopover visit to Thailand. Both sides discussed and exchanged views on collaboration between OHCHR and Thailand, developments and challenges on human rights situations in the country, the region and world, as well as the preparation for the Summit of the Future.
