สหประชาชาติได้กำหนดให้วันที่ 11 กรกฏาคมของทุกปีเป็นวันประชากรโลก เพื่อสร้างความตระหนักรู้ต่อความสำคัญของปัญหาประชากรโลก โดยคาดการณ์ว่าภายในปี 2643 ประชากรโลกจะเพิ่มขึ้นเป็น 11,200 ล้านคน ซึ่งจะส่งผลกระทบต่อการเข้าถึงทรัพยากรและบริการขั้นพื้นฐานที่มีอยู่จำกัด ส่วนสถานการณ์ในประเทศไทยนั้น คาดการณ์ว่าในปี 2568 จำนวนผู้มีอายุ 60 ปีขึ้นไปจะคิดเป็น 20% ของประชากรทั้งหมด ซึ่งจะทำให้เสี่ยงต่อการขาดแคลนแรงงาน ส่งผลกระทบต่อระบบเศรษฐกิจ สังคมและความมั่นคง

               ดังนั้นการแก้ปัญหาประชากรจึงเป็นสิ่งสำคัญ เช่น การส่งเสริมเข้าถึงบริการทางสุขภาพ รวมถึงการดึงศักยภาพของผู้สูงอายุเพื่อให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุดต่อสังคมและองค์กรเพราะประชากรเป็นมากกว่าแค่ตัวเลขร่วมกันตระหนักและสร้างโลกที่ยั่งยืนครอบคลุมและนำเสนอความเป็นไปได้แก่ประชากรทุกกลุ่ม ทุกเพศและทุกวัย 🌏🧍‍♂️🧍‍♀️

                 The United Nations has proclaimed 11 July of each year as World Population Day to raise awareness of the importance of global population issues. It is anticipated that by the year 2100, the world population will reach 11.2 billion people, impacting access to limited resources and basic services. In Thailand, it is projected that by 2025, 20% of the population will be aged 60 and above, posing risks such as labour shortages that may affect the economy, society, and stability.

                 Therefore, addressing population issues is crucial, such as promoting access to health services and maximising the potential of the elderly for the benefit of society and organizations.The population is more than just numbers.Let's raise awareness and create a sustainable world that includes and presents all possibilities for every group, gender, and age. 🌏🧍‍♂️🧍‍♀️
