เมื่อวันที่ ๒๓ ธันวาคม ๒๕๖๘ นายวิชาวัฒน์ อิศรภักดี ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงการต่างประเทศพบกับ นาย Mugiyanto ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีกระทรวงสิทธิมนุษยชนอินโดนีเซีย ในโอกาสเยือนไทย

ทั้งสองฝ่ายยินดีกับความเป็นหุ้นส่วนทางยุทธศาสตร์ระหว่างไทยกับอินโดนีเซีย และการครบรอบ ๗๕ ปีของการสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตในปีนี้ และหารือเกี่ยวกับความร่วมมือระหว่างไทยกับอินโดนีเซียเพื่อส่งเสริมและคุ้มครองสิทธิมนุษยชนทั้งในระดับทวิภาคี ภูมิภาค และระหว่างประเทศ ซึ่งรวมถึงต่อข้อริเริ่มของอินโดนีเซียในการเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดการประชุม Asia-Pacific Ministerial Forum on Human Rights ในปี ๒๕๖๙ และความร่วมมือในกรอบคณะมนตรีสิทธิมนุษยชนแห่งสหประชาชาติ (Human Rights Council: HRC) ซึ่งทั้งไทยและอินโดนีเซียเป็นสมาชิกในปัจจุบัน

On 23 December 2025, H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs met with H.E. Mr. Mugiyanto, Vice Minister of Human Rights of Indonesia on the occasion of the latter’s visit to Thailand.

Both sides welcomed the Strategic Partnership between Thailand and Indonesia and the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries this year. The two Ministers exchanged views on cooperation between Thailand and Indonesia on the promotion and protection of human rights at the bilateral, regional and international levels. This included Indonesia’s initiative to host the Asia-Pacific Ministerial Forum on Human Rights in 2026, as well as cooperation in the Human Rights Council (HRC), of which Thailand and Indonesia are current members.
