เมื่อวันที่ 27 พฤษภาคม 2567 กรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศ กระทรวงการต่างประเทศได้จัดงานเสวนาวิชาการ "การประชุมสุดยอดแห่งอนาคตและอนาคตของพหุภาคีนิยม: มุมมองจากภาคส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้อง" โดยร่วมกับศูนย์การศึกษาต่างประเทศ กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ และหุ้นส่วนได้แก่ BRANDi และ The Cloud เพื่อรับฟังและรวบรวมมุมมองและความเห็นของผู้เชี่ยวชาญที่เป็นผู้แทนภาคส่วนต่างๆ ในประเทศไทย เกี่ยวกับระบบพหุภาคีในการต่างประเทศในปัจจุบันและในอนาคต โดยนางเอกสิริ ปิณฑะรุจิ ปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศได้เป็นผู้กล่าวเปิด ย้ำถึงความสำคัญของการต่างประเทศระบบพหุภาคีที่มีสหประชาชาติเป็นแกนหลัก และการประชุมสุดยอดแห่งอนาคต (Summit of the Future) ที่จะมีขึ้นในช่วงปลายปีนี้ในห้วงการประชุมสหประชาชาติที่นครนิวยอร์ก สหรัฐอเมริกา

ภายในงานเสวนา นาย Guy Ryder รองเลขาธิการสหประชาชาติด้านนโยบาย ได้กล่าวถ้อยแถลงผ่านระบบออนไลน์ สะท้อนถึงภาพรวมของสหประชาชาติในฐานะกลไกขับเคลื่อนระบบพหุภาคี และความสำคัญของความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศในเวทีการประชุมสุดยอดแห่งอนาคต โดยย้ำว่า  “เรามีหน้าที่เสริมสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศและความเป็นน้ำหนึ่งน้ำใจเดียวในทุกระดับเพื่อความอยู่รอดของเราและโลก”

On 27 May 2024, the Department of International Organizations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand organized the seminar "Summit of the Future & the Future of Multilateralism:  Perspective from Stakeholders", in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, the International Studies Center (ISC) and in partnership with BRANDi and the Cloud. 

At the seminar, Ms. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary delivered opening remarks highlighting importance of multilateralism with United Nations at its center, as well as the Summit of the Future, which will take place later this year during the United Nations General Assembly in New York , USA. 

H.E. Mr. Guy Ryder, United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Policy also delivered a message via online, regarding the importance of the United Nations work in advancing multilateralism, and the signifcance of the international cooperation for the Summit of the Future by emphasizing : “We are called upon to strengthen international cooperation & solidarity at all levels for our and for the planet’s survival."
