กรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศต้อนรับคณะ GHFP 2024 จากกระทรวงสาธารณสุข

            เมื่อวันที่ ๑๖ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๖๗ กองการสังคม กรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศ กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ต้อนรับคณะผู้แทนกระทรวงสาธารณสุขที่เข้าร่วมหลักสูตรการพัฒนาขีดความสามารถด้านสุขภาพโลก ประจำปี ๒๕๖๗ (Global Health Fellowship Program 2024: GHFP 2024) ซึ่งประกอบด้วยบุคลากรส่วนกลางและส่วนภูมิภาคของกระทรวงสาธารณสุข รวมทั้งหน่วยงานอื่น ๆ ที่ปฏิบัติงานหรือมีความสนใจในงานด้านสุขภาพโลกของประเทศไทย รวม ๓๖ คน

            กิจกรรมในวันดังกล่าวประกอบด้วยการบรรยายในหัวข้อ “Overview of MOFA: Mandate, Structure, Roles, Foreign Policies and Global Health” ให้แก่คณะ GHFP 2024 โดยให้ข้อมูลความรู้เกี่ยวกับบทบาทและหน้าที่ของกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างการต่างประเทศกับการสาธารณสุข และงานด้านการทูตสาธารณสุข (Health Diplomacy) พร้อมทั้งยกตัวอย่างกรอบความร่วมมือที่ไทยมีส่วนร่วมและมีส่วนผลักดันในประเด็นสาธารณสุขโลก นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการบรรยายเกี่ยวกับการเตรียมความพร้อมเพื่อเดินทางเข้าร่วมการประชุมระหว่างประเทศและงานพิธีการทูตที่เกี่ยวข้อง

            กรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศ โดยกองการสังคม มีความร่วมมือกับกองการต่างประเทศ และสำนักงานพัฒนานโยบายสุขภาพระหว่างประเทศ กระทรวงสาธารณสุข ในการจัดกิจกรรมสร้างความตระหนักรู้ด้านสาธารณสุขโลกเป็นประจำทุกปี ที่ผ่านมา ได้มีการจัดบรรยายให้คณะผู้เข้าร่วมหลักสูตร GHFP เป็นประจำตั้งแต่ปี ๒๕๖๖ ทั้งนี้ เพื่อมุ่งพัฒนาบุคลากรและบูรณาการความร่วมมือเพื่อช่วยกันขับเคลื่อนงานด้านการทูตสาธารณสุขของไทยอย่างต่อเนื่องต่อไป

          On 16 July 2024, the Social Division, Department of International Organizations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed delegates from the Ministry of Public Health that participated in the Global Health Fellowship Program 2024 (GHFP 2024), which consisted of 36 local and regional personnel as well as officers from other agencies working in the field related to global health.

          The program involved the topic of “Overview of MOFA: Mandate, Structure, Roles, Foreign Policies and Global Health” which provided information about the roles of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the connection between foreign affairs and public health, and the conduct of health diplomacy, while provided examples of international and multilateral cooperation that Thailand participated and initiated. Furthermore, the briefing was also provided with regard to the preperation steps for attending international conferences and related diplomatic protocols.

          Social Division, Department of International Organizations cooperated with Global Health Division and International Health Policy Program, Ministry of Public Health in organizing awareness raising activities every year including convening GHFP yearly. In 2023, the division also hosted GHFP which focused on building capacity of personnel and enhancing cooperation to drive Thailand health diplomacy.
