นายกรัฐมนตรีประกาศความมุ่งมั่นของไทยในการเร่งรัดการบรรลุ SDGs ยกระดับชีวิตและความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีของประชาชน ระหว่างร่วมการประชุม SDG Summit 🌱

               เมื่อวันที่ ๑๙ กันยายน ๒๕๖๖ นายเศรษฐา ทวีสิน นายกรัฐมนตรี กล่าวถ้อยแถลงในการประชุม SDG Summit ประจำปี ๒๕๖๖ ณ สำนักงานใหญ่สหประชาชาติ ณ นครนิวยอร์ก ซึ่งจัดขึ้นในห้วงการประชุมสมัชชาสหประชาชาติ สมัยสามัญ ครั้งที่ ๗๘

              นายกรัฐมนตรีย้ำความสำคัญของระบบพหุภาคีนิยมที่มีประสิทธิภาพ การปฏิรูประบบการเงินระหว่างประเทศ และความจำเป็นในการลงทุนเพิ่มเพื่อเร่งรัดการบรรลุเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (SDGs) นอกจากนี้ นายกรัฐมนตรียังได้ย้ำถึงความจำเป็นในการขับเคลื่อน SDGs อย่างพลิกโฉม เพื่อนำไปสู่การพัฒนาที่ยึดคนเป็นศูนย์กลางและให้ความสำคัญกับโลก
            

                  ในโอกาสนี้ นายกรัฐมนตรีได้ประกาศความมุ่งมั่นของไทยในการบรรลุ SDGs โดยไม่ทิ้งใครไว้เบื้องหลัง ส่งเสริมสิทธิมนุษยชนของทุกกลุ่ม และความร่วมมือเพื่อรับมือการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ ซึ่งจะช่วยยกระดับชีวิตและความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีของประชาชนโดยตรง

Prime Minister announces pledges towards SDG attainment to uplift livelihood and well-being of people at SDG Summit 2023.

On 19 September 2023, H.E. Mr. Srettha Thavisin, Prime Minister, delivered a statement at the Leaders’ Dialogue 6 of the SDG Summit 2023 at the UN Headquarters, New York, held during the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Prime Minister emphasized the importance of effective multilateralism and expressed support for UN Secretary-General’s call for reform of the international financial architecture, and underscored the need to scale up investment in SDG acceleration projects. Looking forward, Prime Minister stressed the need for transformative approaches that will lead to a more people-centered and planet-centric development.

In this regard, Prime Minister announced Thailand’s pledges towards SDG attainment — to leave no one behind, to promote and protect human rights of all persons, and to drive forward cooperation in support of climate action — all of which will directly uplift the livelihood and well-being of the people.
