On 21 September 2023, H.E. Mr. Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, attended a side event on "Toward more resilient, equitable and sustainable Universal Health Coverage in 2030 - Equitable Access to Medical Countermeasures (MCMs) and Impact Investment Initiative (Triple I) for Global Health" during the 78th Session of the UN General Assembly.

             During his remarks, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs urged for more investment in physical and mental health through the Universal Health Coverage and commend Japan's leadership in initiating the MCM Delivery Partnership and Triple I for Global Health.

             On this occasion, the Prime Minister of Japan expressed his appreciation to Thailand for the active role in international health security promotion.
