เมื่อวันที่ 7 สิงหาคม 2567 นางเอกสิริ ปิณฑะรุจิ ปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศได้พบและหารือกับ ดร. พิเศษ สอาดเย็น ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันเพื่อการยุติธรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (Thailand Institute of Justice - TIJ) เพื่อหารือถึงความร่วมมือในการขับเคลื่อนข้อกำหนดสหประชาชาติว่าด้วยการปฏิบัติต่อผู้ต้องขังหญิงและมาตรการที่มิใช่การคุมขังสำหรับผู้กระทำผิดหญิง (United Nations Rules for the Treatment of Women Prisoners and Non-Custodial Measure for Women Offenders) หรือข้อกำหนดกรุงเทพ (Bangkok Rules) เพื่อดูแลความต้องการเฉพาะของผู้ต้องขังหญิง และส่งเสริมมาตรฐานความเท่าเทียมทางเพศในการปฏิบัติต่อผู้ต้องขัง ให้แพร่หลายในเวทีโลก เพื่อเฉลิมพระเกียรติและสืบสานพระราชปณิธานของสมเด็จพระเจ้าลูกเธอ เจ้าฟ้าพัชรกิติยาภา กรมหลวงนเรนทิราเทพยวดีราชสาริณีสิริพัชร มหาวัชรราชธิดา 

On 7 August 2024, Ms. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand met with Dr. Phiset Sa-ardyen, Director of Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ) , to discuss the cooperation to advance the United Nations Rules for the Treatment of Women Prisoners and Non-Custodial Measure for Women Offenders or the Bangkok Rules at international level,  to honour Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha and promote the protection of female inmate rights.
