เมื่อวันที่ 11-14 สิงหาคม 2568 สำนักงานภูมิภาคของคณะกรรมการกาชาดระหว่างประเทศ (ICRC) ที่กรุงเทพฯ ได้รับอนุญาตให้ลงพื้นที่สามจังหวัดที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากสถานการณ์บริเวณชายแดนไทย-กัมพูชา ได้แก่ จังหวัดสุรินทร์ จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ และจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี เพื่อสำรวจความเสียหายต่อโรงพยาบาล สถานที่ตั้งทางพลเรือน รวมถึงผลกระทบด้านมนุษยธรรมต่อพลเรือนในพื้นที่ โดยมีผู้แทนกระทรวงการต่างประเทศร่วมสังเกตการณ์

ในช่วงวันที่ 11-12 สิงหาคม 2568 คณะ ICRC ได้ลงพื้นที่ใน 3 อำเภอในจังหวัดสุรินทร์ รวมถึงอำเภอพนมดงรัก ซึ่งมีโรงพยาบาลพนมดงรักเฉลิมพระเกียรติ 80 พรรษา ที่ได้รับความเสียหายจากการใช้อาวุธในสถานการณ์ชายแดนไทย-กัมพูชา โดยคณะฯ ได้สำรวจสถานที่ที่ได้รับความเสียหาย เก็บข้อมูล และสัมภาษณ์ประชาชนพลเรือนผู้ได้รับผลกระทบโดยตรง

ต่อมาในวันที่ 13 และ 14 สิงหาคม 2568 คณะกรรมการฯ ได้เดินทางลงพื้นที่เพื่อปฏิบัติภารกิจเพิ่มเติมที่จังหวัดศรีสะเกษและจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี ตามลำดับ โดยสำรวจสถานที่ที่ได้รับความเสียหาย เช่น สถานีบริการน้ำมัน ปตท. ที่บ้านผือ อำเภอกันทรลักษณ์ จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ และที่อำเภอน้ำยืน จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี

ทุกหน่วยงานในแต่ละจังหวัดได้ให้ความร่วมมือและแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลและประสบการณ์เป็นอย่างดี และด้วยความเปิดเผย โปร่งใส และชัดเจน

On 11-14 August 2025, the Regional Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Bangkok was granted access to visit 3 provinces that have been affected by the Thai-Cambodian border situation, namely Surin, Sisaket, and Ubon Ratchathani provinces. The purpose of the visit was to survey the damage sustained at hospitals and civilian facilities, as well as the humanitarian impact on the local communities. Officers from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs accompanied the delegation as observers.

On 11-12 August 2025, the delegation visited 3 districts within Surin province, including Phanom Dong Rak district, where the Phanom Dong Rak Chalerm Prakiat 80^th Anniversary Hospital is situated. The said hospital sustained severe damage from the clashes at the border. The delegation also surveyed the damages to the different properties and locations, compiled data, and interviewed civilians that were directly affected.   

Then, on 13 and 14 August 2025, the delegation visited Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani provinces, respectively, and surveyed various affected areas, such as the damages to the PTT petrol station in Kantharalak district, Sisaket province, and locations in Nam Yuen district, Ubon Ratchathani.

The different agencies across all 3 provinces extended full cooperation to the ICRC delegation  and provided open, transparent, and clear exchanges of information and the experience of the armed attack.
