เมื่อวันที่ ๖ ก.ย. ๒๕๖๕ นางเอกสิริ ปิณฑะรุจิ อธ. กรมองค์การฯ กต. เข้าร่วมการประชุมทางไกล COVID-19 Global Action Plan (GAP) Senior Officials Meeting ร่วมกับเจ้าหน้าที่อาวุโสจากกว่า ๒๐ ประเทศทั่วโลก และผู้แทนองค์การระหว่างประเทศที่เกี่ยวข้องตามข้อริเริ่มของสหรัฐฯ และตามคำเชิญของกระทรวงการต่างประเทศสเปน โดยไทยย้ำคำมั่นที่จะพัฒนาบุคลากรสาธารณสุขให้พร้อมรับมือกับภัยคุกคามต่อสุขภาพในอนาคต โดยเน้นความสำคัญของการดำเนินการใน 3 เรื่องหลัก ได้แก่ การเพิ่มอัตรากำลัง การเพิ่มความปลอดภัยในการปฏิบัติหน้าที่และการรักษาขวัญกำลังใจและความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีของบุคลากรฯ พร้อมเดินหน้าโครงการความร่วมมือกับประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน เพื่อพัฒนาบุคลากรฯ ที่มีองค์ความรู้ด้านการสาธารณสุข และนักระบาดวิทยา รวมทั้งสร้างความเข้มแข็งให้กับระบบการเฝ้าระวังโรคระบาด.

On 6 September 2022, Ms. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Director-General, Dept of Inter Org. MFA Thailand, attended the COVID-19 Global Action Plan (GAP) Senior Officials Meeting, together with senior officials from more than 20 countries and representatives of relevant international organizations upon the invitation of MFA of Spain and under the overall GAP initiative led by the United States. Thailand has reiterated its commitment to improve health workforce’s capacity to prepare for and respond to future health threats in the following areas: surge capacity, occupational safety and morale and well-being of health workforce. Moreover, Thailand will continue to work with its neighbouring countries to improve our partners’ preparedness capacity, through developing health personnel with public health competences and new epidemiologists, as well as strengthening surveillance systems.
