เมื่อวันที่ 13 กุมภาพันธ์ 2567 นายสีหศักดิ์ พวงเกตุแก้ว ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้พบหารือกับนายอันโตนิอู กุแตเรซ เลขาธิการสหประชาชาติ ณ สำนักงานใหญ่สหประชาชาติ ณ  นครนิวยอร์ก เพื่อหารือแลกเปลี่ยนเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์โลกและสถานการณ์ในภูมิภาค รวมถึง เมียนมา

ในโอกาสนี้ ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีฯ ได้กล่าวแสดงความพร้อมของไทยในการสนับสนุนกระบวนการดำเนินการของสหประชาชาติ เพื่อมุ่งหน้าสู่การประชุม Summit of the Future ที่จะมีขึ้นในเดือนกันยายน 2567 ซึ่งเป็นข้อริเริ่มของเลขาธิกาสหประชาชาติ

On 13 February 2024, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, met with H.E. Mr. Antonio Guterres, United Nations Secretary General (UNSG), at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, to discuss global and regional situations, including Myanmar.

Vice Minister also expressed Thailand's support for the process leading up to the Summit of the Future, which was initiated by UN Secretary General. The Summit of the Future will be held in September, later this year.
