เมื่อวันที่ 15 กุมภาพันธ์ 2567 นายสีหศักดิ์ พวงเกตุแก้ว ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงการต่างประเทศได้เข้าร่วมการเสวนาหัวข้อ "อนาคตของคณะมนตรีสิทธิมนุษยชนแห่งสหประชาชาติ" ที่จัดขึ้นที่สำนักงานใหญ่สหประชาชาติ ณ นครนิวยอร์ก ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีฯ ได้ร่วมแบ่งปันประสบการณ์ในฐานะอดีตประธานคณะมนตรีสิทธิมนุษยชนแห่งสหประชาชาติ (HRC) โดยย้ำถึงความสำคัญของการพูดคุยกัน การปรับปรุงการทำงานของคณะมนตรีสิทธิมนุษยชนของสหประชาชาติ และการเสริมสร้างขีดความสามารถให้ประเทศต่างๆ ส่งเสริมและคุ้มครองสิทธิมนุษยชน ตลอดจนการทำงานร่วมกันอย่างบูรณาการของหน่วยงานภายใต้สหประชาชาติเพื่อส่งเสริมสิทธิมนุษยชน 

On 15 February 2024, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of Thailand joined the panel discussion on "The Future of Human Rights Council" held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The Vice Minister shared his experience as the former President of the Human Rights Council (HRC) and emphasized on the importance of dialogue, improvement of HRC's work and capacity building for country members to promote and protect human rights, as well as the coordinated work of UN agencies.
