คณะผู้แทนไทยเข้าร่วมการประชุมเวทีหารือทางการเมืองระดับสูงว่าด้วยการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน(High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development: HLPF) ประจำปี ค.ศ. ๒๐๒๕ ณ สำนักงานใหญ่สหประชาชาติ นครนิวยอร์ก ระหว่างวันที่ ๑๔-๑๘ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๖๘ ซึ่งเป็นการประชุมสัปดาห์แรกของการประชุม HLPF ภายใต้หัวข้อ“Advancing sustainable, inclusive, science- and evidence-based solutions for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its Sustainable Development Goals for leaving no one behind” โดยเน้นการขับเคลื่อนแนวทางการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน มีความครอบคลุม และตั้งอยู่บนพื้นฐานของวิทยาศาสตร์และหลักฐานเชิงประจักษ์ เพื่อบรรลุวาระการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน ค.ศ. ๒๐๓๐ โดยไม่ทิ้งใครไว้ข้างหลัง

ผู้แทนไทยได้นำเสนอความก้าวหน้าการดำเนินงานเพื่อบรรลุเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (Sustainable Development Goals: SDGs) ได้แก่ SDG 3 (สุขภาพและความเป็นอยู่ที่ดี) เช่น การส่งเสริมการเข้าถึงบริการสุขภาพผ่านนโยบาย ๓๐ บาทพลัส และการใช้เทคโนโลยีสุขภาพ และ SDG 5 (ความเท่าเทียมทางเพศ) ผ่านการปรับปรุงพระราชบัญญัติความเท่าเทียมระหว่างเพศ การผ่านกฎหมายสมรสเท่าเทียม การรับมือปัญหาความรุนแรงบนพื้นฐานด้านเพศ และการส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจการดูแล

นอกจากนี้ ไทยยังผลักดันความร่วมมือด้านการพัฒนากับประเทศแอฟริกา ประเทศพัฒนาน้อยที่สุด (Least Developed Countries: LDCs) ประเทศกำลังพัฒนาที่ไม่มีทางออกสู่ทะเล (Landlocked Developing Countries: LLDCs) และรัฐกำลังพัฒนาที่เป็นเกาะขนาดเล็ก (Small Island Developing States: SIDS) โดยผ่านกลไกความร่วมมือใต้-ใต้ และความร่วมมือไตรภาคี

ในระดับท้องถิ่น ไทยเน้นการขับเคลื่อนการนำ SDGs ไปใช้ในระดับพื้นที่ (SDG Localization) การพัฒนาระบบบริหารจัดการข้อมูลการพัฒนาคนแบบชี้เป้า (Thai People Map and Analytics Platform: TPMAP) และร่วมมือกับทีมสหประชาชาติประจำประเทศไทย ในการจัดทำ SDG Profiles ใน ๑๕ จังหวัดนำร่อง การจัดทำรายงานการทบทวนโดยสมัครใจระดับท้องถิ่น (Voluntary Local Review: VLR)

ทั้งนี้ ในวันที่ ๒๑-๒๔ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๖๘ นายมาริษ เสงี่ยมพงษ์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ จะเข้าร่วมการประชุมระดับรัฐมนตรีของ HLPF เพื่อนำเสนอรายงานการทบทวนการดำเนินการตามวาระการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนระดับชาติ (Voluntary National Review: VNR) ของไทย ฉบับปี ค.ศ. ๒๐๒๕ และการอภิปรายเพื่อยืนยันบทบาทของไทยในเวทีสากลในการขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน ครอบคลุม และมีประชาชนเป็นศูนย์กลาง

During 14-18 July 2025, the Thai delegation participated in the first week of the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. This year’s Forum was convened under the theme “Advancing sustainable, inclusive, science- and evidence-based solutions for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its Sustainable Development Goals for leaving no one behind.”

The Thai delegation presented the country’s progress in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 on Good Health and Well-being, through the expansion of essential health service coverage under the strengthened “30 Baht Plus” Universal Health Coverage Scheme and enhanced access to healthcare through digital technology.

In terms of SDG 5 on Gender Equality, Thailand has made significant progress, including the revision of the Gender Equality Act, the passage of the Marriage Equality Law, strengthening of legal and institutional frameworks to combat gender-based violence, and promotion of care economy measures to support working families.

Thailand also reaffirmed its active role in promoting development cooperation with African countries, Least Developed Countries (LDCs), Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs), and Small Island Developing States (SIDS) through South-South and Triangular Cooperation.

At the local level, Thailand places strong emphasis on SDG localization. The country has developed the Thai People Map and Analytics Platform (TPMAP), a targeted data management system to support effective policy formulation and resource allocation. In collaboration with the United Nations Country Team in Thailand, SDG Profiles have been launched in 15 pilot provinces, as well as the development of Voluntary Local Reviews (VLRs).

Following on 21 to 24 July 2025, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, is scheduled to participate in the Ministerial Segment of the HLPF to present Thailand’s 2025 Voluntary National Review (VNR), as well as deliver a national statement during the general debate, reaffirming Thailand’s strong commitment to inclusive and people-centred sustainable development.
