เมื่อวันที่ 19 สิงหาคม 2568 กระทรวงการต่างประเทศร่วมกับโครงการพัฒนาแห่งสหประชาชาติ (United Nations Development Programme: UNDP) จัดการประชุม Annual Review 2024/2025 เพื่อทบทวนการดำเนินงานตามแผนงานความร่วมมือของ UNDP สำหรับประเทศไทย ฉบับปี 2565 - 2569 และเตรียมการสำหรับการจัดทำแผนงานความร่วมมือฯ ฉบับใหม่ ปี 2570 - 2574 โดยมีนางสาวแคทรียา ปทุมรส รองอธิบดีกรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศ เป็นประธานร่วมกับนางสาวนีฟ คอลิเออร์-สมิธ ผู้แทน UNDP ประจำประเทศไทย และมีผู้แทนจากหน่วยงานภาครัฐของไทยที่เกี่ยวข้องเข้าร่วมด้วย
ฝ่ายไทยยินดีต่อบทบาทที่แข็งขันของ UNDP ในการดำเนินงานเพื่อขับเคลื่อนเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนในประเทศไทยผ่านแผนงานความร่วมมือฯ ที่ครอบคลุมการดำเนินงาน 3 ด้านหลัก ได้แก่ การเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่เศรษฐกิจสีเขียวและครอบคลุม การพัฒนาทุนมนุษย์ และการพัฒนาสังคมที่ไม่ทิ้งใครไว้ข้างหลัง รวมทั้งย้ำความสำคัญของความสอดคล้องของการดำเนินงานระหว่างแผนงานความร่วมมือฯ และประเด็นด้านการพัฒนาที่ไทยให้ความสำคัญ โดยหน่วยงานภาครัฐของไทยยืนยันความพร้อมที่จะร่วมกับ UNDP ผลักดันและสานต่อการดำเนินงานตามแผนงานความร่วมมือฯ ฉบับปัจจุบันและฉบับปี 2570-2574 ผ่านการมีส่วนร่วมจากทุกภาคส่วน เพื่อให้การดำเนินงานและเป้าหมายสอดคล้องกับบริบทของโลกและประเทศไทยอย่างครอบคลุม
On 19 August 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Thailand jointly convened the UNDP Annual Review 2024/2025 to review the implementation of the 2022 - 2026 UNDP Country Programme and discuss preparations for the 2027 - 2031 UNDP Country Programme Document (CPD). Ms. Cataleya Phatoomros, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, and Ms. Niamh Collier-Smith, UNDP Resident Representative in Thailand, co-chaired the meeting, with the participation of representatives from the relevant Thai agencies.
The Thai side welcomed the UNDP’s active role in promoting the SDGs in Thailand, guided by the CPD which focuses on 3 priorities: transitioning to a green and inclusive economy, investing in human capital, and fostering a society that leaves no one behind. The meeting emphasized the importance of aligning the CPD with Thailand’s key development priorities, and reaffirmed the Thai agencies’ readiness to work with UNDP in advancing the implementation of the current and the next CPD for 2027 - 2031 through the engagement of all stakeholders to ensure that their implementation and objectives are in accordance with national and global contexts.
