เมื่อวันที่ ๑๓ สิงหาคม ๒๕๖๗ นายไพศาล หรูพาณิยช์กิจ รองปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศได้เป็นประธานการประชุมคณะกรรมการประสานงานด้าน สหประชาชาติ องค์การระหว่างประเทศอื่น ๆ และองค์การต่างประเทศ ครั้งที่ ๒/๒๕๖๗ เพื่อพิจารณาท่าทีไทยร่วมกับหน่วยงานที่เป็นคณะกรรมการฯ ในประเด็นที่จะหารือในการประชุมสหประชาชาติสมัยสามัญ ครั้งที่ ๗๙ ซึ่งจะมีขึ้นในเดือนกันยายน ๒๕๖๗ ณ นครนิวยอร์ก โดยที่ประชุมได้หารือแลกเปลี่ยนเกี่ยวกับพัฒนาการของประเด็นต่างๆ ในเวทีระหว่างประเทศและท่าทีของไทย ในประเด็นทั้งด้านสันติภาพ ความมั่นคง เศรษฐกิจ การพัฒนา สิทธิมนุษยชนและความช่วยเหลือด้านมนุษยธรรม 

On 13 August 2024, Mr. Paisan Rupanichkij, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs chaired the 2nd Coordinating Committee meeting on Issues Related to United Nations, Other International Organizations and Foreign Organizations, to jointly consider the international discussion and development, as well as Thailand’s positions on issues, which will be discussed at United Nations General Assembly (UNGA79) in the area of peace, security, economics, development, human rights and humanitarian assistance.
